Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Christian Therapist to join our mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide faith-based therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, integrating Christian/Biblical principles with evidence-based counseling techniques. Your work will help clients navigate emotional challenges, foster spiritual growth, and develop resilience through personalized treatment plans. Duties-
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs.

Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and stability.

Utilize motivational interviewing techniques and scripture to enhance client engagement and facilitate behavioral change.

Deliver specialized counseling for children, adolescents, individuals PTSD, complex trauma, grief, addiction issues, chronic pain, and gender identity concerns.

Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality.

Provide telehealth services utilizing secure platforms to expand access to care beyond traditional settings.
Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.

Valid licensure or certification as a Christian Therapist or equivalent in your state (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSW, LPCC).

Proven experience in psychotherapy with children and families

Experience with crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, behavior management strategies, and working with individuals with complex trauma.

Proficiency in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling, trauma-informed care including PTSD treatment approaches.

Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation procedures.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships within diverse populations.
